She signed a dowry agreement regarding the estate of Samuel Cooke on 9 March 1747/48.[3]
She is a slaveholder.
Her will is dated 5 June 1761 in Ridgefield and proved on 28 March 1764 in Danbury. She mentions her daughter Dorcas Ingersoll (bequeathing her enslaved black woman Dinah), her granddaughters, Abigail Botsford, Isabella Cane, Mary Kent, Lucy Kent, Sarah Kent, and Sarah Ingersoll, Dorcas Ingersol., Mary Ingersol, Abigail Ingersol, Hannah Ingersol, and Esther Ingersol, and her daughter in law Ann Silaman (Note: her second husband, Samuel Cook's daughter), and her grandsons Moss Kent, and Elisha Kent. Her inventory was recorded on 7 April 1764 in Danbury.[4]
