Some sources, e.g. Amos Ragan family history[1], say that she was the daughter of John Unthank, while others, e.g. FHC film 1034757/8, The Tomlinson Family[2], say she was the daughter of Samuel Russell. In support of the latter is Samuel Russell's will, probated August 1757, leaving property to his daughter Olive Tomlinson.
Olive and Josiah had 7 children. Olive and the three oldest daughters supposedly died young, all about the same time. The three sons and daughter Sarah survived to adulthood. Presumably Olive must have died sometime after the birth of the youngest child Josiah (Aug. 1759 or Mar 1760, depending on sources) but probably before her husband, who left a will dated 15 Dec 1760 and probated 16 Feb 1761, since the will names Sarah and Josiah, but not Olive or the other girls.
