He made his will on 14 June 1799 in Shelburne Parish, Loudoun, Virginia. It was proved on 8 Sep 1806. ... Sarah my dearly beloved wife ... full property & use of all my estate ... her natural life. ... after her decease & within 1 year ... divide among my 3 children Robert, William & Rebecca Cummings ... Wit: David Carlisle, Richard Carter, Samuel Dillon. Exr: James Campbell.[1]
