Biography

Benjamin "Treadeasy" Russell was born 15 Sep 1813 in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas to William Russell and Jane Curry Russell. [1]

He married three times: first, to Eliza Amelia Unknown about 1833; second, about 1860, to Mrs. Sarah Pinder; and third, about 1871-1872, to Mrs Elizabeth Ann Roberts Carey.

In 1847 Treadeasy Russell moved his family from the Bahama Islands to Florida, , sailing with his wife; three sons, William H., Benjamin A. and John; and one daughter, Susan. A second daughter, Elizabeth was born in Key West, Monroe County, Florida, USA in 1849.[2]

Benjamin Russell passed away on 19 Sep 1883 in Key West, Monroe County, Florida, USA.
