Biography
John C Russell was born on 1 Oct 1846, in Greenville, South Carolina to parents William Russell and Sarah Guest. He married first Mary Martha Clarinda Powell about 1869 in Greenville, South Carolina. Children: Sarah, William E, Edward Admodius (Eddie), Lula Elizabeth, Minnie Martha, Sally, John B, Eva E, Delia Farr. After his wife Mary died in 1894 he married second Cornelia L Rambo in 1895 in South Carolina. He died on 12 Mar 1910 in Piedmont, South Carolina.
On the 1900 census he is listed as John D Russell.
