- From Lucinda Howell Glover: "According to notes Calvin Onslow "Lonnie" GLOVER (son of Calvin Thomas & Emily C. GLOVER) made in his Bible (in my husband's possession), her maiden name was Emily Catherine "RYLES". It is my opinion that she was the daughter of Alfred RYALS & Rebecca "Becky" MOORE of Johnston County NC. I also am theorizing that Emily's mother was kin (perhaps a sister) to Calvin Thomas's 1st wife Sarah MOORE."
