Biography

Patricia Ann Gillispie, 73, of Pequot Lakes, died at her home Friday, April 12, 2013. Services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Pleasant Hill Community Church in Pequot Lakes with Pastor Bob Osell officiating. Family and friends are welcome to gather Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Interment will take place at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.

Patricia was born November 28, 1939, in Finlayson, the daughter of Dale and Hilda (Makela) Ryan. She graduated from Willow River High School. Patricia married Richard Gillispie in 1957 and the couple made their home in Coon Rapids before moving to Fairview Township in 1984. She and Richard earned their living as Truck Drivers and Patricia had accumulated over 4 million accident-free miles. She enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.

She will be missed by her husband, Richard; her son, Richard, of Pequot Lakes; sister, Gladys Fish, of Burbank, CA,; grandchildren, Shawna, Alex, Cayla, and Ricky; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Elena. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Terrance.^[1]
