DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with James by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with James:

Ryan-4890 and Ryan-6754 appear to represent the same person because: Hi there, my birth name was Lisa Haines. After extensive research and with the aid of family records I have traced my ancestry back to James Ryan through my paternal grandmother Gladys Haines (nee Aiken). I'd like to propose that we merge the above two persons as I believe the details belong to the same James Ryan. Kind regards, Lisa Marwick
