Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".
Thank you for volunteering! You are now a confirmed member of the WikiTree community.
As you add family profiles, use the green tabs near the top of each profile to see what info will be visible to others - just toggle between private and public views.
If you need help, ask a question in our G2G forum:http://www.wikitree.com/g2g. Most WikiTree members are eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist. If you need additional help using WikiTree, our Mentors Project is a great group of volunteers who will be glad to assist you.

Hello Leanne, and welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to become a member of WikiTree. Just add a Tag for each family surname or location you are researching. Then click the Post Tags and Volunteer button. (information on Tags can be found at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags). One of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership.
WikiTree is an exciting and growing community and we are really glad you decided to join us.
