Sarah was born in 1768. She was baptised November 20, 1768 in the Dutch Reformed Church at Schenectady, New York.[1]
Sarah is the daughter of John Ryckman and Eunice Ward.
Marriage
Sarah's first husband, Robert Lottridge is listed on a 1786 Loyalist list with three boys over two years of Age and one under two, also with a servant but without a wife.[2] The servant girl is believed to be Sarah, who he married shortly after this. She would bear him a daughter before his own death in 1790.[3] As Robert's widow, Sarah and his sons had to fight through about a decade of petitions before getting satisfaction from the government and receiving all their due lands.[4]
Sarah was married second to John Springer in 1792. They settled near Hamilton, Ontario where they raised 11 children, Margaret-1793, David-1795, Rachael-1796, David-1798, John-1800, Eunice-1802, Richard-1804, Daniel-1806, Samuel-1806, Sarah-1808 and Hannah-1812.
Death
Sarah died in 1830, and was buried in Hamilton, Ontario.

I believe that 1768 is correct birth date. she came to Upper Canada after the Revolution and married the widower Capt. Robert Lottridge. He died 1790 and she remarried to Springer. Death would have been in Upper Canada as well, not in US.
