Biography

Benjamin Sage Sr. was born about 1725 in colony of Connecticut. He died 8 Dec 1813 in New York and is buried in the Belcoda , NY cemetery. The cemetery is now called Wheatland Baptist Cemetery. A picture of grave marker and his DAR Patriot number A099131 are available at Find A Grave.com Memorial #36608194. [1]He married Abigail Blinn in Berlin, CT, and they had at least 10 children.[2], A signer of Articles of Association, 1775 and served as a private in NY State Troops during American Revolution.[3], History of Dutchess Co, New York, edited by Frank Hasbrouck, 1909.
