Henry Salusbury of Lleweni in north-east Wales, was the son of Ralph Salusbury of Lleweni and Margred ferch Ieuan, daughter of Ieuan ap Cadwgan.[1][2]
He married Agnes, daughter of Sir John Courtois or Curteis.[1][2] Their children are recorded as:
In 1395, Alexander de Salbury granted to Henry de Salbury and Agnes, daughter of John Curteys, and their heirs, the reversion of all lands in Lleweni held by William de Dodesbury and Margaret his wife. The witnesses included John Curteys and Ralph Salbury.[3]
He appears to be the Henry Salesbury who in 1417 and 1424 was steward of Dyffryn Clwyd or Ruthin.[4][5]
Henry and his wife are said to be buried in the abbey at Denbigh.[1]
Bartrum records that Henry died in 1400.[2] However, Lloyd's History of Powys Fadog says he was living in 1421 (3 Henry V).[1]
