William SALLIER was born in 1630 in France. He died about 1700 in Brookhaven, New York. William resided in 1655 in Long Island, New York. He immigrated about 1655 to Massachusetts.
All of the information on William Sallier and his immediate descendants is based on "TRADITIONAL" genealogy and is undocumented. This includes his wife's mother being Mary Dayton. This information was received from another party several years ago and I have made no attempt to verify any of this early information. As has been pointed out to me, there is no proof that William Sallier came from directly France. It is possible that he was born in the colonies rather than having immigrated from France. William married Sarah DAVIS daughter of Fulke DAVIS and Mary DAYTON about 1655. Sarah was born about 1630, before her father Fulke is recorded being in Colonial America; her birth location is unknown. She died about 1700.
In Brookhaven town records dated 25 Oct 1671, Fulke Davis deeds to his "sonn in law william Sallire of Southold" land in Setauket originally purchased from David Lane. This record establishes that William and Sarah Davis were married by that date.
They had the following children:

Hence Sarah and William Salyer were married by that date. ,
