My grandmother lived on the same farm her entire life. It was located where 11 Mile and Gratiot intersect. I remember when they were building the 696 freeway, and she sold it, and they built the freeway through. I remembered going there as a small child and having picnics on the large expanse of lawn. Her father and mother started this farm in what was then called Erin Township and what now is known as Roseville, Michigan
