His will is dated 15 May 1749 and proved on 6 November 1749 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife Keturah, and his children, Anna Samson, Robert Samson ("eldest son surviving"), Nathaniel Samson. Abner Samson, Fear Simmons, and Keturah Cullifer.

His inventory was taken on 30 November 1749 in Duxbury.

In 1753, an account of his estate was recorded, including debts and estate settlement charges.[4]
