1776 Project
William Samson performed Patriotic Service in New Hampshire in the American Revolution.

Son of Jonathan Samson and Mary Pettingill.

Husband of: 1) Judith Merrill, whom he married on Jan. 3, 1758, in Newbury, Essex, MA, and with whom he had ten children: Daniel, Mary "Molly," William, Eliphalet, Judith, Hannah, Thomas, Nancy/Anna, Sarah, and Jonathan Samson. 2) Widow Mary (Bishop) Goodyear, whom he married after the death of Judith Merrill. No children.
