Some accounts have Abigail dying at age 39 in New Hampshire (see the profile of her husband James for details). It seems more likely that she moved with him to Nova Scotia, and died ca 1811.

I see this info comes from Ancestry and don't much trust their user submitted trees. If you have a source citation that shows a marriage between Abigail Sanborn and a Merrill, I'll carefully consider this new info.
