Hezekiah Sanders was born on 28 Aug 1734 in Deep River, Guilford, North Carolina to parents John Sanders III and Jane Barbara Crew. He married Martha Elmore (Johnson) on 6 Nov 1757 in Henrico, Virginia. Children: John, Samuel, David, Jonathon, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Sarah, Rebeckah, Martha, Jemima, Elizabeth.
