Biography

Jessie Sanders was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Laurens Township (east part, excl. Laurens town), Laurens County, South Carolina for the June 11, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born September 1883 in South Carolina and single. Also included in the household are head Jackson W Sanders, wife Cornelia Sanders, daughter Mildred Sanders and son Clarence Sanders as seen in an image of the original census.^[1]

Jessie Setzler was enumerated as wife of the head of household at 122 Laurens Cotton Mill District, Laurens Ward 3, Laurens County, South Carolina for the April 21, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1886 in South Carolina and had been married seven years. She was a weaver (cotton mill) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household is head Marion K Setzler.^[2]
