Funeral services for W. H. Sanders of Dodson were held by the Rev. H. C. Murphy, the Rev. I. A. Patten, and the Rev. Fortenberry at Transport Cemetery Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Sanders died on June 8 after several months of illness.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. W. S. Sanders; his wife, Mrs. Maggie Gaar Sanders; six children, Will Ed, Wilbur, Wade, Rose Mary, Lora Dell, and Norma Jean, and four sisters, Mrs. W. C. Cookston, Winnfield; Mrs. A. L. Terrell, Dodson; Mrs. Oris Branch, Shreveport; and Miss Margaret Sanders, Dodson; and four brothers, G. I. and Arnold, Dodson; Dewey, Shreveport, and Tom Sanders, Monroe.
