Ed Sanders
Jewell was born October 2, 1939 in Poplar Bluff, MO. , a child of Samuel and Bessie Sanders. Jewell was one of eight children. She was a very hard worker and tried her best at whatever she took on. Jewell's family was always her first priority, and her life revolved around them. When she was not with her family, she enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Her desserts were a family favorite. She will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew her. Surviving are her five children: Debbie (Mark) Bornhop, of O'Fallon and Darla Maloney of Wentzville, Rick (Michele) Jameson of Silex, Mark (Jessica) Jameson of Elsberry and Doug Jameson of St.Charles; her five sisters: Juanita Lacey, Louise Hobbs, Patsy Marler, Brenda (Larry) Ulrich and Linda Kempel; and 11 very special grandchildren; Ami and Tim, Jeni, Lisa and John, Shaida and Kevin, Kyle and Rachel, Ashley, Tyler, Zach, Blake, Madison, and Jake. Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers: Bob Sanders and Ernie Sanders; and her two grandchildren; Lauren and Corey. A funeral service to be held on Sunday, September 26, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. from the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO. , 63379, 636-528-8244. Visitation to be held also on Sunday at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home in Troy, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Interment will be under the direction of White – Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk, MO. on Monday with graveside service at Brown Chapel in Broseley, MO
