Biography

Samuel Sanderson was born in Littleton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts on April 30, 1762. He was the son of Moses Sanderson and Mary Flagg Sanderson.[1][2][3]

He was married in Littleton on November 19, 1795 to Lydia Whitcomb. Note that Littleton Vital Records show the date of marriage as November 19, while Church records indicate November 9. The Reverend Edmund Foster officiated. Lydia was the daughter of Jonathan Whitcomb and Sarah Tufts Whitcomb. [4] [2] [3][5]

Samuel died July 26, 1832 in Littleton at the age of 70. He is buried in Westlawn Cemetery in Littleton. [1][2][3]
