Biography

Moses Sanderson was born in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts February 22, 1721/2. He was the son of Samuel Sanderson and Mercy Gale Sanderson.[1][2] [3] [4]

He was married in Waltham, Middlesex County on January 1, 1751 to Mary Flagg, daughter of John Flagg and Hannah Bemis Flagg. After her death in 1789, he married (2nd) Anna (Jewett) Pingrey in Littleton, Their intentions were filed August 27, 1797. Anna was the widow of Stephen Pingrey, Sr. [5][3]

Moses was a Minuteman in the Littleton regiment of Colonel James Prescott and answered the alarm at Lexington April 19, 1775.[6] [7]

Moses Sanderson died in Littleton, Middlesex County, August 10, 1798. He is buried in the Old Burying Ground in Littleton.<re name="Mass BMD" /> [6][4]
