Doris Josephine was born December 25, 1917 in Texas to father Morris Sandlin and mother Carrie Blizzard.[1]
Josephine Sandlin was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Justice Precinct 7, Cass County, Texas for the January 29, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1918 in Texas and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Morris Sandlin, wife Carrie Sandlin, daughter Agnes Sandlin, son Lamar Sandlin and daughter Oline Sandlin.[2]
Josephine Sandlin was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Atlanta and Huffine Road, Precinct 7, Cass County, Texas for the April 25, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1918 in Texas and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Morris Sandlin, wife Carrie Belle Sandlin, son Lamar Sandlin, daughter Olene Sandlin, daughter Helen Sandlin and brother Harper Sandlin.[3]
Doris Josephine Fortner died August 13, 1966 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.[1]
