Biography

John Alexander Sands was born in 1865 at St. Peter's Parish, Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas to Richardson and Euphemia Albury Sands.

In 1885, John Alexander Sands married Mary Angeline Thompson, daughter of Mary Albury and William Thompson of Man-O-War Cay, Abaco. They had children - among them John Harrison, Reca Belle, Treason Sands, Thomas, and Mary Vernal Sands.
