Hannah was the third wife of Rev. William Livingston of the Province of South Carolina. They were married by 1 April 1722, when she renounced her dower in an indenture.[1]
Following Livingston's death in 1723, she married John Dart on 19 August 1726.[2]They had at least four daughters who died as infants: Ann (d. 1729)[3], Hannah (d. 1738) [3], Lydia (d. 1735),[4] and Mary (d. 1736).[4] Hannah was also the mother of Benjamin Dart, who was of age by 1750 when John Dart wrote his Will, and perhaps of John Sandford Dart, who was underage in 1750.[5]
Hannah Dart died on 20 April 1742 in Charles Town, Province of South Carolina.[6]
Research Notes
No primary source has been found for the Last Name at Birth of Sandford. It seems to be an assumption based on the son of John Dart named John Sandford Dart.
