Biography
Margaret Sanford was born in about 1742. Her parents were Benjamin Sampson and Mary Williamson.
In 1758, Margaret, above the age of 14 years, made the choice of her "father in law" (stepfather), William Barney of Taunton to be her guardian.[1]
She married William Barney on January 10, 1760.
Together they had the following children:
In 1765, Margaret is mentioned in her father, Benjamin Samson's estate distribution. She was the wife of William Barney.[2]
