Peleg Sanford was born about 1780 at Newport, Hants, Nova Scotia to Esbon Sanford and Lydia Burgess. He married Elizabeth Kellam, who was born 3 Dec 1799. She was the daughter of Amasa Kellam and Sarah Sanford of Westmorland, New Brunswick. Elizabeth and Peleg had one child: Esbon Amasa, born 1840. Peleg was willed his father’s farm in Centre Burlington Hants, and was made executor of the estate. His father, Esbon, died in Jan 1829.[1]
