Lois was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts, in 1768, the daughter of Thomas Sargent and Sarah Clement. [1] She may have been the Lois Sargeant who was christened in Amesbury three days later, through the record gives the mother's name as Prudence.[2]
She married John Coffin in 1797.[3] They were living in Auburn, New Hampshire, at the time of the 1850 census.[4]
She died 02 Jul 1860 at the age of 91 years and is buried at the Long Meadow Cemetery in Auburn, New Hampshire.
