From what I understand -- his family was large, 13 siblings and they lived in Canada. I'm not sure of the spelling of the last name but it is my best guess for the time as it is. His wife, my maternal grandmother, was Etta and what sounds to me like 'He-in-gay'. I understand her birth first name was Henrietta. I understand she was born in Germany. She did speak some German that I remember. Grandfather was an electrician in the US Navy and stationed at Mare Island in Vallejo, California, where I was born.
