Biography
Clifford Sasser is a part of US Black heritage.
Clifford was born around 1877 in Texas. He was the son of Wright Sasser and Caroline Ward.[1]
Clifford married Victoria Bailey in 1895 in Cass County, Texas.[2]
They lived in Cass County and had two children before VIctoria died in 1916. He then married Fannie prior to 1920, when they were living in Bowie County, Texas.
Clifford died at the age of 62 on 4 June 1948 in Bowie, Texas, United States.[1]. He was buried in the Queen City Cemetery in Queen City, Texas.
Research Notes
The 1880 census lists Clifford as a female, but all other records indicate male. His death certificate gives 1885 as year of birth, but all other records confirm closer to 1877.
