William was born about 1740. He passed away about 1825.

Wilhelm's son Johannes Sauer was baptised on 5 November 1769 in Littlestown, Adams, Pennsylvania, United States.[1]

Wilhelm's daughter Anna Catharina Sauer was baptised on 28 March 1772 in Littlestown, Adams, Pennsylvania, United States.[2]

  • IF this couple William (Sauer) Sowers and Catharina (Unknown) Quandel had a son George Sowers it is not the George Sowers who went to Floyd Co. VA These parents are not old enough to have a son George b. in 1750 they are only 10 years old in 1750, and were married 12 years AFTER George's birth. (George Sowers of Floyd Co. VA was b.1750 d. 1834 at the age of 84 per grave marker and 1830 census)
