Dr. Patrick Saunders was a physician who lived in Bishopsgate, London.

His pedigree is available in "the visitation of London, anno domini 1633, 1634, and 1635", Volume 2, page 227.

He was married to Sara, daughter of Henry Smith of Withcote, Leicestershire. He was the son of John Saunders of Weston, Somersett and Jone, daughter of John Shepherd, of Weston, Somersett. His paternal grandfather was Richard Sanders of Weston, Somersett, and his wife, a daughter of unknown Price in Wales.
