Biography
Edward Charles "Ned" Saunders was born on 2 November 1875 in Pelluebla South, Victoria, Australia, the ninth child to Catherine Anne (Region) Saunders and Herbert Saunders.[1]
He married Jane Brownlees in 1905 at St Alban's Anglican Church Tungamah, Victoria.[2] Their children were:
- Edward Charles Saunders (1906–1905)[3]
- Robert Saunders (1907–1979)[4]
- Herbert Saunders (1908–2000s)[5]
- James Saunders (1910–?)[6]
- Mary Catherine Saunders (1917–?)[7]
- Eileen Saunders (1920–?)[8]
Edward died on 26 March 1950 in Pelluebla South, aged 74 years.[9] His remains were buried with those of his first wife, Jane, in Lake Rowan Cemetery.[10]
