Biography
There is some question regarding the identity of Anna Rebecca Briscoe James's mother. Anna's death certificate lists mother Annie Saunders. However, the 1870 and 1880 census lists Lyndsey's wife as "Rachel A." It is possible that she was Rachel *Annie* Saunders. On the other hand, the informant on this death certificate may have mistakenly assumed that Lyndsey's second wife "Annie" was Anna's mother. According to the 1900 census, Lyndsey and Annie unknown were married ca. 1896. More research needed.
