Eldest son and heir of Edward Saunders by an un-named wife. [1]
The Will of his father, Edward Saunders (dated 1514), states "I will that the feofees of all my lands in Bedworth, in the county of Warwick make estate to John my son and to the heirs of his body lawfully begotten".
I have removed Anne Whetenhall (Whetenhall-8) as the wife of John Saunders (Saunders-582) because - Saunders-582 is 1. the eldest son and heir of Edward Saunders and Joan Makerneys - (who were married before 1473 which would make John's estimated year of birth c1473-4) and 2. the sibling of Lawrence; William; Thomas; Grace and Isabel Saunders who were all born in Northamptonshire.
The following sources confirm a) his relationship with Edward Saunders of Northamptonshire b) his siblings c) his residence (and descendants) in Bedworth Warwickshire.

Miscellanea genealogica et heraldica page 159 (https://archive.org/stream/miscellaneagenea112unse#page/n177/mode/2up/search/saunders) gives the descent from Edward Saunders of Harrington to eldest son John Saunders of Bedworth - Edward Saunders of Bedworth - William Saunders of Bedworth - Michael Saunders (alive in 1601).
British History on-line for the parish of Bedworth also states that "The Saunders were a Northamptonshire family, of whom the first to settle in Bedworth was John, eldest son of Edward Saunders of Harrington (Northants.)". The article also includes the Saunders coat of arms of " Party cheveronwise sable and argent three elephants' heads erased counter changed" (https://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/warks/vol6/pp26-30_)
One final source showing John Saunders (Saunders-582) descent is the Visitation of Warwickshire in the year 1619 (https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=pTMEAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA1&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=2#v=onepage&q=saunders&f=false) again with the coat of arms as described above.
