Anne Marie Savoie, daughter of Francois Savoie and Marie Josephe Richard, was born June 2, 1718 in Port-Royal, Acadie and baptized there the same day. Her godparents were Germain Richard and Anne Richard, wife of Jean Dupuis.[1] She married Joseph Thibodeau, son of Michel Thibodeau and Agnes Dugas around 1738 in Acadie. There are three known children, Joseph, Marie Elisabeth and a second son also named Joseph. Anne-Marie died between Oct 1755 & Aug 1756 a time of great upheaval in Acadie.[2]
