Sarah, daughter of William Sawyer was born 20 November 1651 Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. [1][2] Sarah's mother was Ruth (Bitfield aka Bidfield) Sawyer her parents having married about 1644 at Newbury after the death of William's first wife.

Sarah married 15 January 1669 at Newbury, Joshua Browne of Newbury,[3] Joshua was the son of Richard and Edith (Unknown) Browne. Sarah and Joshua Browne of Newbury had the following known children:

Death
Sarah (Sawyer) Brown(e) passed away 2 August 1732 at Newbury and was buried in the Sawyer Hill Burying Ground in Newbury. [legible gravestone image] [9]
