Maria Catharina Kitzmuller was born about 1708, in Waldangelloch, Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg. She was a daughter of Johannes Kitzmuller (b. ~1665) and his wife Christina (b. ~ 1665).
She married Andreas Kraft on 16 Nov 1723 in Waldangelloch, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany[1]
Immigration: arrived at port of Philadelphia 24 Aug 1728 on the ship Morton house, John Coultes Commander. From Rotterdam, but last from Deal, when the ship sailed 15 Jun 1728.
Maria Catharina first married Andreas Krafft (~1695- ~1745). The couple had the following children:
Following the death of her husband Andreas Krafft, Maria Catharina married Jacob Geicher.
Research Notes
Conflicting secondary sources claim that the family name of her mother Christina was either Krah or Dyerhin.
The GEDCOM import for this profile showed her with two last names: SCHAEFFER and KITZMILLER
Her birth is speculated to be from ca. 1704 to 1710 in Germany.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Maria Catherina by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Maria Catherina:
I've located some information concerning the wives of Andreas Krafft. According to a nicely sourced profile for Andreas at Strausstown Roots (which I copied into his profile at Wikitree), Andreas married twice in Germany--and both wives were named Maria Catharina. His first wife was Maria Catharina Schaeffer, and they had a daughter Ann Elizabeth, born 15 Dec 1727. Maria Catharina Schaeffer must have died soon thereafter, and Andreas remarried just prior to emigration in the summer of 1728. The second wife was Maria Catharina Kitzmuller, and she is the mother of the 10 children shown on Wikitree. Currently, Schaeffer-1493 is linked to one child (albeit the wrong one), and Unknown-417771 is linked to 11 children. So my suggestion is to change Unknown-417771 to a LNAB of Kitzmuller and make her the second wife, married in 1728. Her German parents are also shown on Strausstown Roots.
Thanks for updating those profiles. I have attached her to her father (who has existing profile on Wikitree). His documented ancestors go back quite a few more generations in Germany. For her mother Christina, there is a discrepancy between Wikitree and Strausstown Roots for her LNAB (Dyerhin versus Krah); I'll try to find sources that support one of the two names. Thanks for helping to improve the Wikitree!
Kitzmiller-65 and Unknown-417771 appear to represent the same person because: Because we have not been able to find a source that proves her surname, I've changed one of the profiles to "Unknown" ... we should merge into this one, keeping Schaeffer and Kitzmiller in the "Other Last Names" field, until someone is able to find documentation that shows her Last Name at Birth.
I think we need to merge this profile with Schaeffer-148. There's a duplicate profile for one of the daughters that needs to be merged, too.
Since it's not clear what her last name should be, we could set it as Unknown and put Schaeffer and Kitzmiller in the Other Last Names field as possibilities along with a note in the biography explaining that we haven't been able to identify the name via sources.
Schaeffer-148 and Kitzmiller-65 are not ready to be merged because: Given the difference in the last names, I think a little more research is necessary to make sure her husband didn't marry twice. The marriage date, although the same, could be wrong on one of the marriages. OR ... the second woman could have been married to a different Andreas Kraft.
I changed her LNAB to Kitzmuller and adjusted her dates. I also moved Anna Elizabeth to be her daughter.
Strausstown Roots also showed that Andreas and his first wife had a son who died young. So, I've added him as well.
I've also proposed a merge for the two profiles for Andreas's daughter Maria Elizabeth.
I appreciate your help in finding this information!!
Thanks!
