CONFIRMATION: Pastor Sommer's Family List. "He was confirmed Dom. 17 Trin.: 1739 at Schohare" (Loonenburg Luth. Chbk. Now: Zion Lutheran Church, Athens, Greene Co., NY USA.). "Jacob Sheefer was a freeholder at Schoharrie in 1763" (Albany Co. Freeholders).
MARRIAGE: Recorded: St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Schoharie, Schoharie Co., NY. "Jacob Schaefer and Elisabetha Rickert"

(See Croil's " Dundas", p. 277.)"
