We're so happy to see you are still active on WikiTree and caring about the Dutch profiles. The Dutch Roots Project is looking forward to give the project a new fresh start to put the Dutch in a more prominent place on the WikiTree map. The project is currently managing over 50,000 profiles and the total number of Dutch profiles on WikiTree exceeds 500,000! Within the project we are monitoring the quality of the Dutch profiles and assisting other WikiTreers in producing those profiles. We would love to pick up some other tasks but to do so we need more volunteers. This is why we check in with the members of the DRP to see if you would like to help us expand.
1) Would you like to do some volunteer work for the Dutch Roots Project? 2) If yes, what kind of work would you prefer to do within the Dutch Roots Project? E.g. translating, sourcing, or something else you want to work on?
We hope for a positive reaction but please don't feel obliged to volunteer. We just want to have a group of persons we can ask to help us with certain activities

The 6th Source-a-Thon will take place from the 1st of October till the 4th of October. This Thon is all about adding accurate sources to unsourced profiles and improving the accuracy of WikiTree. Again this year, we try again to give great resistance heroes a nice profile on WT, because they deserve it, also to provide them with ancestors and we also try to connect them to "our" WT.

Did you know there's a Spring Clean-a-Thon organized ? It will last 72 hours in the weekend of 21-23 April 2018, a big event here you can register and since you're a member of our project perhaps you want to join us and have some fun ? Here's our Flying Dutchmen Clean-a-Thon Team

En ... dat is nog niet alles, volgende week hebben we de Dutch Roots Hoogovens Hotemototen Challenge! (van 27 maart tot 2 april). Dus als je wat plezier wilt hebben en voor de verandering aan iets anders wilt werken, je bent natuurlijk van harte welkom om met ons mee te doen!
