Elisabeth was a daughter of Ryer Schermerhorn and Elizabeth Damen. She was born in Somerset County, New Jersey, in 1713. She married Michael Hendershot. She is not mentioned in his will, which was written on 11 June 1786,^[1] so she must have died before that date.
