Information from the 1910 Census: Newark Ward 14, Essex, New Jersey Joseph Schlosser, age 31, born about 1879, in New Jersey. Recently married (0=years) to Sadie who was 28 years old born in Germany to German parents. Joseph was a salesman.^[1]

1920 - Census: So 19th Street, Newark Ward 13, Essex, New Jersey. Joseph, 40, and Sadie, 38, who is a naturalized citizen, have a daughter Beatrice age 9. Joseph's brother Benjamin, age 38, is living with them. Joseph is in Trucking on his own account.^[2]

Joseph had another daughter Anita, born about 1921. He died before 1930, when his wife was widowed.
