He married Francisca Meier. ^[2]

In September 1907 he and his family arrived in the United States. ^[3]

In 1910 he and his family crossed from North Dakota into Canada.

In 1911 was living near township#38, range#23, west of the 3rd meridian.

He died about 1915. ^[2]

There are records of a Frank Schmidt who died on 16 Nov 1915 in Saskatchewan, Canada and was buried at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Reward, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1916. ^[4]
