- Peter Schmidt was born approx 1740 in Harsefeld, Hannover. On 7 Feb 1768 he married Metta Wohlers b.approx 1740, from Bargstedt, Hannover.
- The father of Peter is the late Cordt Schmidt from Harsefeld, and Metta's father was Jakob Wohlers from Bargsted. Have no death dates or locations for either Peter or Metta.
