Arthur Paul Schmidt was born 18 December 1891 at Haugen, Barron County, Wisconsin. He was christened 12 May 1892 at The First German Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. His christening was witnessed by Emilie Reese, and Carl Bayer. Arthur was a son of Robert F. Schmidt and Emma Kunz. [1]
