Hello Lang, I thought you might have some interest in looking at the "McCord Name Study" project? Please feel free to leave suggestions, comments, questions.... thank you for your time.
Please help us build one Collaborative Global Family Tree, with only one profile per person. It's important that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced- if you have pre-1700's ancestors please read our Pre-1700 profiles.
Drop into our friendly Genealogist to Genealogist (G2G) forum to introduce yourself - you can access the G2G by selecting G2G Profile from your My WikiTree menu at the top right of most pages.
WikiTree may be overwhelming at first, so don't hesitate to ask questions in the G2G or seek assistance from a Mentor.
Welcome as a guest to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile per person.
Our Honor Code is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree so please take some time to read it.
Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum. Our help pages, menu top right has very useful information.

The Help Pages give lots of information about the process starting with: 'Before you import a GEDCOM'
Find instructions here for reviewing your GEDCompare Report if you want to import it into WikiTree.
Thanks, Bill
