Maria was born on 8 June 1799 in Somerset, Somerset, Pennsylvania, USA. She was the daughter of Johann Adam Schneider and Catherine (Putman) Schneider.^[1][2]

Research Notes

• MARRIAGE: Married first time 3/22/1818 to John Adam Miller (b. 1800 Gerhardsbrun, Germany; d. 1820, according to estates records); then married to George Werner. They went to Stark co. Ohio.
• One child born of first marriage; four knwon children from second marriage.
• According to will read in Orphan's Court, Mary and her husband, George Warner, lived in Bolivar, Tuscarawas county, Ohio in 1844.
• According to the "Descendants of Adam Schneider" sent to me by Bill Snyder of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. 2003, Mary was living at Stark county, Ohio on 13 October 1845.
• RESEARCH LEADS: One record shows Mary being born about 1802, but information taken from "SNYDER AND SPARKS LINEAGE PAPERS (D.A.R.)" as sent to me by Virginia F. Figura [email address removed] gives the exact date of 8 June 1799.
