Biography
George (Georg) was born before 1840. Georg Schneider came to Texas in the company of Henrich Geistweidt in 1850. He pre-empted land in Cherry Spring and started ranching there. Georg Schneider's birthdate is 3-25-1825, and he died on 4-3-1873 at the age of 48 after perspiring while working and then getting caught in the rain.. Katherina was 40 when her husband died, so that made Katherina a widow for 31 or so years before her death at the age of 71.[1]
