Biography
Christian Schneider was born in Germany 1837. He immigrated to America in 1855, He was married at Granville, Illinois in 1858 to Elizabeth Gutha. He passed away at Kearney, Nebraska in 1923.

An Ancestry.com public tree lists Christian's birthplace as Wohra, Cassel, Hesse, but I find no birth entry in the Wohra church book.
